A reconciliation and cohesion meeting for conflicting clans in Garissa County. After the August 8th General elections, the Garissa market was razed down in flames by warring clans that disrupted the outcome of the of the election. Due to claims that the predominant clan had stolen votes.
Peace-Net Kenya conducted peace advocacy and accountability training targeting county governance stakeholders in Homabay county on the 25th – 27th September. The stakeholders agreed it was an eye opening training, they are willing to influence peace and sustainable governance in the county.
